Isolated Signal Conditioning Products

Each high performance "instrument class" DSCA module provides a single channel of isolated analog input or output. Various input modules accept analog voltage or current signals from all types of field sensors and sources and filter, isolate, amplify, linearize, and convert these input signals to high-level analog outputs suitable for use in data acquisition, test and measurement, and control systems. Output modules accept high-level analog voltage signals from a system, then buffer, isolate, filter, and amplify before providing a current or voltage output to a field device.

The SCM5B analog modules are form, fit, and functional equivalents to similar products from other manufacturers such as Opto22. The product line includes a complete selection of backpanel options, interface cables, racks, fuses, jumpers, power supplies, and other accessory items.

SCM7B Isolated Process Control Signal Conditioning modules are form, fit, and functional equivalents to older designs while offering improved performance and reliability. When installed near individual field loads SCMD series I/O modules create a rugged, protective isolation barrier, effective to 4kV, between the field and computer system. SCT1P isolated 2-wire transmitters condition and send analog signals from sensors located in the "field" to monitoring and control equipment, usually computers, located thousands of feet away in central control areas. SCT1P transmitters accept a wide range of inputs, including millivolt, volt, milliamp, thermocouple, RTD, potentiometer, and slidewire. They operate on power from a 2-wire output signal loop, modulating the supply current to represent the input signal within a 4 to 20 milliamp range.
